BD problem after upgrade ofw 2,20- cfw 3,55
Hi i have a Fat 40 gig ps3 (CECHHG04) with OFW 2.20 and after i have updated it first to ofw 3.55- then to CFW 3.55 (REBUG 3.55.2) the Blueray dosent work any more. I can feed it with cd, dvd, blueray but it dosent even try to start reading. What to do??

You could try to downgrade to OFW2.30 in fsm and remarry the drive. Look here on how to. |

But must i downgrade to 2.30? Or is it a way of doing this on CFW Rebug 3.55.2 QA flagged. I just want to get my Blu-Ray to work again. Please help me

If you read the wiki, it says
Additional Notes on Remarry Procedure 2.30 and 3.15 are not 'special', iirc firmware <=3.30 should be fine (>3.30 won't work) to use as reinstaller PUP. Lv2diag.self for 3.55 downgrade has BD patched out. So in case you have a 3.55 console you wish to remarry, you can either: lv2diag.self downgrade it first to 3.50 or lower and then use the remarry procedure ; or (even better!): QA-flag extra it, then QA downgrade via recovery to <3.50 followed by remarry procedure. |
