When I open multiman I don't get a black screen, I enter in its own XMB. But from there I cannot go in multiman settings as I used to using square key. If I press it, I get a black screen and I have to shut down.
The games I can scroll them, I go for setting the permissions, then black screen with stars, then if I hit X asks me to insert disk (although I didn't have to on old system), then it throws me out in main XMB.

The blu ray drive is ok, I can play games and movies no problem.

It is 2 days old, and I may guess it fixes the issue I have with multiman on DEX machine... It looks to me someone noticed a problem and released a fix, but I find nowhere any info on what it does.

Bottom line, if I have entered into an uncertain situation, can I delete my rebug and install safely the good old Kmeaw on my slim system? How?

Make sure you are in CEX Mode in the Rebug selector too. I use Kmeaw so I'm not all that familiar with ReBug and its settings.

Never mind, I noticed PS3 doesn't see media server any more (that in top of the problems I have with multiman).
It convinced me that REBUG 3.55.2 is not reliable, at least for the regular user although it may be a nice tool for debugging.

Is there a chance to uninstall it and go ahead with kmeow? A downgrade 1 step maybe...

What should I try please? Links are fine, since I know I'm walking on thin ice now.

I'm assuming you still want Linux on it so, take a look at this link:

This MFW is Kmeaw patched with otheros so you can still have Linux.

I would update back to OFW 3.55 via recovery.
Then install the above Kmeaw MFW patched with otheros afterwards.

Sorry I guess I didn't fully understand your problem. But I use button when on a game in multiman, then select game options with X. I usually have my games set for bd and external. Also usually have to set permissions on first launch. I always keep a game in the drive also.

I have it running now, Varaques file didn't download so I had to go with kmew as in the old times. It may be just me not knowing what to do and depending on the old habits and I wish good luck to rebug. You never know when it might be the next reliable thing.
