Or... wait a second.

Fixed an issue which caused mmCM to lock during boot (on boot screen)
This may be it... I'll check the update on my Waninkoko console and report if it works now.

Mods, sorry for a little bit of off-topic here, but... what happened? What's wrong with Waninkoko's CFW? I'm not really that deep into PS3 scene. I'm using version 2 which was fixed and by the time I was flashing my PS3 for the first time with CFW I was advised to go with Waninkoko v2 because apparently it was safer (to avoid brick) for my exact model of PS3.

That first version caused bricks, but i think you knew that. Mostly everyone uses kmeaw or rebug unless you bought a 3.55 dongle. That means things like reactpsn that mod files in the firmware that are better to use on "standard" cfw's might give you problems because they might not have been tested on them. Also Im not sure what he patched to add backup support so you might run into unexpected problems elsewhere when modding the firmware with patches "designed" for other cfw's.

Its a matter of if it works and most of the people on cfw are using it why try to be different, it will just cause problems eventually. Go with whats standard.

I have a cecha01 (a few actually) with kmeaw which is one of the models that had problems with the first verson of Waninkoko's CFW. I have had rebug but found it to complicated for others to use, they play with settings not knowing what they are doing and who really needs a debug ps3? We have backups and homebrew which is what 99% of cfw users want with kmeaw and its the "standard".

Can you use multiman? I might be wrong but doesn't it cause issue because of your built in patches? I thought it was not compatable with newer versions of multiman but I havent ran Waninkoko's CFW in a long time.

Guys, I can't seem to figure how this works. Does the feature to play games stored on the PC work without the dongle? If it does, can somebody tell me how to do it? Also, do I really need to bother, cause I'm suspecting the loadings will be looooong....? Cheers.
