I got a 250GB HDD for my console, and since I can no longer go online, the only use I'me having for it is to store game saves. I feel it is quite a waste. Is there anything else I can currently use it for, since my xbox has it's disk drive flashed?

Also, this may be a very n00b question, but can flashed disk drives potentially be used to softmod the console? What are the main problems that prevent the xbox scene of modding updated xboxs?

Well the jtag exploit is no longer any good microsoft has fixed it, but with the new fw for ur disk drive u can burn and play all the new games. If u have problems with the games freezing u need to get the lite on burner and put the fw on it to fix that problem instead of using ternicate mode

I have a liteon and so far no backup is freezing. I'm just asking if there is any use I can give that amount of dik space.

U can install the disc games to the hdd so they will read and run faster when u play from the disc. If u don't have a jtag or an xkey that is pretty much all u can do saves and install gamedata
