TB Ruinned the scene dev's are scared and i don't think we have devs before they were news everyday about new cfw and don't say i want to play my pirated games ! a scene is not only hombrews but also hacking ps3 scene should inspire from xbox scene ps3 suck ! if i had enought knowledge i will try to hack ps3 and i will not let sony win ! but too bad we see no tutorials about some complex things we want to learn ! personnaly i consider it as DEAd cause i'm on OFW 4.00 And i want to play my hacked games !

I disagree. As I stated in the first post, the price with 360 hacking materials is acceptable. Sure you may have to buy your glitch chip, but the knowledge and understanding is free. I have never paid a dime for a DVD hack (except for the small amount I spent to make a PMT probe.) If you have a slim 360 then yes you will have to buy materials (unless you feel comfortable with the kamikaze hack and Jungle Flasher.) Also let me remind everyone that the first round of LT 3.0 was released on Christmas Eve. Now did he have to take the time to bundle up everything and release it on Christmas, no, but he did, and for free.

There will always be ungrateful *******s (look at the people that have hitachi drives capable of AP 2.5 in their 360) but most of this scene is full of people that appreciate everything that they have gotten to do on their console. The ones that are ungrateful usually do not last very long at all.

When you mention c4eva collecting money, well he has taken donations (both hardware and money) but that money actually goes towards something. Him charging for his firmware hacks would put him in the same category as the TrueBlue *******s.

So in other words not every 360 hack costs money. You may have to buy a glitch chip or something to help unlock the SPI on slim drives, but if you can make these circuits yourself then go for it. The point being is you are not forced to buy anything. The knowledge of doing these hacks is free, and you can always make a choice on how you want to accomplish said hacks.

my jtag was free to do (used lpt for nand flash and junk electronics for diodes)
my flashed elite was free
my rgh slim cost money because it was impossible for a free version as a glitch chip is 100% required

most importantly though, despite any cost is that the people i payed money to did not add drm to anything forcing me to buy their product and nothing else

i hope the ps3 scene controllers grow the f*** up and stop hugging their damn wallets and remember what a scene should be instead of being bit*h ass cowards, f***ing with people/bullying others away and messing with the course of open source, simply to pay for their next rimjob.

this is the only scene i have ever known that charges for something they themselves claimed should be open sourced.
