Sorry to disapoint you guys but i won't happen. If it were to happen, we would've seen something a year ago.

Yes I did read it. My thoughts were along the lines of "whats the point being able to install PKG's if you can't run the programs?"

Sony won. We have to admit few facts and stop deceiving ourselves :

1) Sony clearly used Math as a divide/conquer strategy on us for over a year. I'm pretty much convinced he was on Sony payroll to steer the scene in the wrong direction ( I had my doubts but with the KaKa incident it's pretty much clear he worked for them in a WAY or NOT. I was among the only one who knew he was in relation with them back in ex-scene.

2) We do not have any more competent developers. Sadly, Sony made it impossible to hack the PS3 further on. Nobody has the skills to crack down the lv0 security hence destroy Sony's security from the face of the earth.

3) We won't have any CFW any time soon - like danyboy666 said its been over a year of false promises, fake donations, scam, DRM, and drama.

4) You have few options now:

A) Update to OFW and sell your soul to the devil by signing the TOS.
B) Sell your PS3/Stay on CFW 3.55 with the limited games/homebrew you have left.
C) (NOT RECOMMENDED) Get a DRM dongle at all.
D) (RECOMMENDED) Sell your PS3 and go to the X360 scene.

Message to developers/hackers: GG. You've failed.

you guys lack optimism. the point to anything doesn't have to affect the users, it can be for devs. if you were realists you'd realize at some point, something is gonna happen whether it's a hen, a new mfw or something else awesome like a ps2, dc or n64 emu.
you wanna switch to a 360, well, that blows that you need to goto a new console cause you can't wait.

Optimism? How about being realistic. You can't except to see the only hacker left - KaKa - break the EDSCA algo while it's freakin' impossible even he admits it:

Good luck on that one. It's hopeless - we could go on a take the lv0 route (if he has the skill of course) but refuses under the umbrella of 'I'm against piracy'. We won't go far unless you prefer have a DRMAIDS dongle who basically steal the debug eboots and resign them with their own algo + resign it for 3.55 CFW. Sorry, I rather go to a scene where KNOWLEDGE is free, releases are free - and etc (except materials) and are continually expanding without bull****, 8==D, and drama among developers.

This scene had/has so much potential - sad to see it go like this but I'm sure I'll enjoy this N64 emulator on X360 and etc..

Yes and NO. Yes the games you legally bought, not backups unless from the PSN. No, for no backups such as with multiMAN. To play games like this you need P&P (peek and poke) of which kakaroto is against.
