realistically, anything is possible. i don't believe in it, but some people believe that sending positive energy can really help. i don't believe in it, but i am definitely doing it. i thoroughly enjoy what the scene has brought.
with all the psx games being possible, i couldn't get bored for years and neither should anyone else unless graphics is everything to them. i have like 3 or 4 psx memory cards full of saves

they might have secured this piece of ****e better then any other console, but it'll be working just fine with the right decrypted information.

If you'd rather ruin your money on an console that wont be able to do much more then an default computer does, then sure.. buy yourself an x360 and be an microsoft fanboy..
but there are enough people here who believe in kakaroto, and are willing to help him if they knew how.. I personally know the basics of coding, but im sure my math knowledge aint good enough to help him decrypting the required information.

Your message to the developers is whats ruining this scene..
the developers didn't failed, not at all...

I see people mentioning @kakaroto should take the lv0 approach. i'm pretty sure that he is not too confident with hardware hacking side of things, I may have read that on twitter a while ago or I could be thinking of someone else.

So lets see. Sony completely recreated the PS3 security, which many are now saying the PS3 is "unhackable".

That is bull****, nothing is unhackable. Prior to fail0verfl0w and the likes, PS3 was unhackable.. then it got hacked.

Let us learn to walk again, let us make this exploit work, and install programs so we can walk. Once we can walk we can begin to learn to run (make a cfw etc). But we must be able to walk first..

Alright, look. To everyone complaining, OFW 4.10 has been around for half a month, OFW 4.00 has been around for just under 3 months, 3.56 for just over a year. Yeah, I'm sure a year is a long time to wait, but let me fill you in on a little secret about the software industry - bugs are ALWAYS present. Exhibit A: Windows XP. It's been around for 11 years now. That's a whole 10 years more than this firmware. And people are STILL finding exploits that need patching. The developer base searching for Windows exploits is probably close to a million. There are nowhere near that many people working on cracking open the PS3. If the world's most used operating system is still being cracked open after 11 years, you don't really have a right to ***** about a games console taking a year when there's maybe 20 or so developers working on it.

Grow up. Get some perspective.

Or better yet, learn, and try to help instead of whining.

I love how you use the ' us '. What have you done for the scene before spewing non-sense. 'Let's walk', 'we' - Non sense. Get your facts straight and stop using the 'we' as if you were part of something big and also stop trying to be the front man for the scene.

It's hopeless - admit it. FoF are gone, geohot gone, graf gone, or anyone with capable hacking skills won't even dare hacking the PS3 since either : A) Scared of Sony raiding their home and B) This scene stinks so much that its not even worth it anymore.

Sony won - they did everything right from the Lawsuits - Math divide and conquer - security etc and scaring real devs away.

Instead of people going after Sony, we have people HOLDING the information out of the scene (cex-dex etc etc..) or yet, monetize it through fake donations, DRM dongles, etc etc...

Wish I could flash my X360 without having to take it to a shop and pay. Got LT 1.92 but it's pretty much obsolete. And I'm poor anyway. :V
