Hi again

You guys have been very helpful so far so now I have my hand on a brand new PS3 which has OFW 3.21 on it.

Now before I do anything with the console I just want to be clear again on what I have to do and what I have to be careful with so after I read TUT from http://www.ps3hax.net/showthread.php?t=26677 I wanna make sure that I follow every necessary step and correctly.

1. Install OFW 3.55
2. Install Kmeaw CFW 3.55
3. Install 4.00 Version Spoofer v2.1 for 3.55 from rebug.me
4. Is that it?

*Note 1: No I never have intention to play backup games which mean I'll play every games with disc.
*Note 2: There is 2 versions of spoofer. The normal one and geohot one. Is there any different?

I'm pretty sure there's no need to install OFW 3.55...
but yeah...your steps will work fine.

those steps are correct, but you dont really need the spoofer. If you insist on installing it use the regular one, not the GH one. Good Luck.

Isn't the spoofer helps me play recent games? I have read somewhere that if I dont spoof version, newer games will ask me to update the system.

nope, the spoofer isnt gonna let you play any new games.

can't play newer games w/o dongle or True Blue. occasionally, one or 2 come around....

I dont talk about backup games. I will always use disc to play. Or it will never work with disc as well?
