Lets say you have Call of Duty ModernWarfare 3 disc, a spoofer isnt going to let you play that game on kmeaw CFW.

If you're looking to play the newer games like MW3, Assassins Creed Revelations, etc. you have to get a True Blue dongle like @skribblize said

edit - FF13-2 isnt a game you can play with TB yet, if they come out with a patch for it, Id recommend you get one.

correct. just install 3.55 OFW and then Kmeaw and you're good.

Thanks and if you dont mind telling me what is the real purpose and benefits of version spoofer? Is it only benefit people who play backup games? 'coz i think i misunderstand the concept of it completely

In the old days, it was used to help us folks using CFW get on PSN before Sony shut us out. (everyone remember F*ckPsn?)

nowadays, its just used so people dont accidentally upgrade past 3.55. Its a useful tool but its not absolutely necessary at all.

ok i got it all setup. i can cheat as much as i want now wooot but now it raise another question.

By using CFW, i will not be able to go online with PSN am i correct? i can see the PSN icon is there but im too afraid to click it lol and btw i havnt setup the internet connection yet. what is really the limitation of using CFW anyway?

You can browse the net but like you said, no psn. Even if you tried to connect it'll say you need to upgrade to the latest firmware. Your limitations are: can't play new games without a dongle(tb or jbking), anything that requires you to use psn( like netflix), and of course psn.

The SAFEST thing to do, without accidentally updating your FIRMWARE PAST 3.55, is NOT setup your internet on the PS3.
If any game either by disc or HD asks to update, you'll be safe.
But there are games that NEED GAME updates to play on 3.55, so keep THAT in mind also.
