secondo me la notizia è vera per l'uscita di due nuove console per sony e microsoft ^_^ ci sono molti siti web e forum e blog che discuttono di questa special notice la data d'uscita dovrebbe essere al 98% per dicembre 2012 chissà ? verità o puttanata non si sa comunque queste notizie sono estese da + parti staremo vedere. Anche se da una parte con gli homebrew-downgrade e altro materiale tecnico per l'avvio dei bacKup games su HDD per console ps3, che si sta anche cercando di creare aggiornamenti in +, se ci sarà questa console credo che i games ps3 avranno una svendita pazzesca staremo a vedere

Yes I know what you mean but Ive never had a 6800 Ultra, only had a 6800GT, and when I moved to the 7000 series I jumped straight to the 7950GX2, so for me the performance did increase when I made the switch. Regarding the more powerful statement from Nvidia I'm guessing they are saying that because it has more transistors.

That sounds about right, that is what I'm also guessing.

The custom part I think is only for communication with the CELL, but on the underside Nvidia said it was same arch as the 6800 Ultras. Not sure if its true but that's what they said.

EWWWW RSX uses DDR O.o..... that sucks, why not XDR too like system mem >.

Eh they was charging 600 bucks a pop, im sure they could have used XDR, I mean come on its only 128MB im sure they could have fit that in the budget.

I doubt it, when you consider that Sony was makin a loss on PS3 hardware even at a $600 price tag.
