i have a question... is it possible to test coldboots without having to flash them on the firmware? like, a modified version of glevand's reboot.pkg or something...

edit: this question is considered a little offtopic, but it isn't worth to start a new thread with it

Yes we might implement something soon as a quick preview solution and not have to flash.

@ GregoryRasputin

true thanks

@ TizzyT

Thank you I consider you a friend too fella. As you know I do what I do to help others and give fresh faces a chance to have fun with the PS3. Also I have that raf test thing we discussed I will put at the end of this post

@ corwin75

WOW you have some issues man here is what I put to you

"Some peolple know of this now including a great guy, great dev and creator of the coldboot program TizzyT but thanks for your snail paced advice man. It would be interesting to see your coldboot containing a 3D model. Could you show us a vid please?

BTW where is this program that is supposed to make it easy for everyone to make dynamic themes???"

So reading what you have gone into, I don't really know where your coming from???. I didn't ask you for help cus I didn't need it and I remember you asking me for help about dynamic themes before you got hold of the SDK. You are not a better person than me or anyone else so stop being so up yourself, your a human like all others.

The difference between me and you is that I know how to act within a community you clearly don't. I want to help folk you don't see the point in helping you just tell people. I mean, I just asked you 2 questions and you go off on one like you have hate towards me (don't care though). If the community thinks I'm an ass I can accept that.

You can have opinions about me all you like but so long as you know I don't need nor want information/help from you ever, I have the ps3hax community, the SDK and my PS3's for that.

@ TizzyT & zecoxao

Here is a p3t (theme) which requests the coldboot.raf from the coldboot folder on the usb http://www.mediafire.com/?q1c12xhouyp40kb

There are actually 2 versions the first (USB_RAF_LOADER) asked for dev_usb/coldboot/coldboot.raf. The second asks for app_home/coldboot/coldboot.raf for this remove the disc from the PS3 and put the usb in slot 1 his should make the usb app_home. Install the p3t like a regular theme put the usb in slot 1 then apply the theme (only tested on 3.41 cus 4.10 don't work). Let me know how it goes if your on 3.55 cus you can always add to your hdd via ftp and make a new p3t (files included).

You can say to you I would always want the same opinion about you. And themes that I was manually compile and decompile. I do not need the SDK. I even made my own tools. If you want my info... I give them to TizzyT ... You ask her.
Oh yes when you get to decrypt the files JSX and SXML you can say you're at my level.
After you can say what you want about my behavior that I help those who deserve it.

First off, "You ask her"? Wtf did you smoke today? Second of all, stop trying to sound more superior than others. You may be more educated in certain things than others, but this was not always the case. Also, trust me when I say that there are others that know much, MUCH more than you.

I will end this post by requesting that you stop arguing with others in this thread, nobody wants to read that **** (at least I don't). I have a lot of respect for TizzyT (and Glowball). He has asked me for help in the past, and I have helped him. I never once bashed him because of the type of app he was coding. If you had any true programming experience, you would know that showing this type of attitude toward others projects is straight up, f*cked up.

Lastly, wtf have you released for the scene that you think gives you the right to bash someone actually releasing ****, miniscule, liked, or even used by ps3 users.... at least he/they are releasing sh*t.

Sorry for the rant, but I have respect for TizzyT and could not take anymore of the idiotic comments from this @corwin75 fella.

Keep up the good work Tizzy and Glowball!

We are all trying to make the scene a better place, don't cripple it by being so righteous, & take your head out from your ass. i don't see you contributing. >_< we dont need another Math, it was hard enough to get rid of the last one
