ok so i am on 4.10 software now want to downgrade to 3.55 using the flasher and the e3 card reader. everything goes smooth when using the sd but as soon as i need to put in the doengrade file in to e3 card reader its not reading it in ps3 no clue why... dongraded before without any problems but now having a problem maybe that file is only designed for versions 4.0 and under or something. can anyone help

Maybe you could try flashing on FLASH FUN mode if you have a GOOD CFW backup. I had the same problem, and I put my backup on the SD card, then flipped the FLASH FUN up (All the rest down) and Voila!, I was able to use the E3 card dongle again, with no problems. I hope that helps

QUESTION: Is there any way of downgrading my ps3 from fw 4.10 to fw 3.55 without any es or whatever u call it, kids did install this bloody 4.10fw and now i am stuck without anything fun to do, so i really really want my 3.55 fw back somehow..please respond to this and give me some answers :-) love from Sweden <3

Read the banner on the top of the page and click on it. You need hardware (e3 flasher, progskeet, teensy++, etc....) to downgrade from anything 3.56 or higher.
