I have applied lv2 patch and tried everythn suggested to get rid off this black screen problem. Please help me guys. Can anyone tell me whats wrong and give a step by step guide.

What backup manager are you using, what games are you trying to run, and are you running it from internal or external HDD. And CFW are you using.

I am using multiman and running kmeaw 3.55. I am using internal HDD as i have 120gb PS3
This problem is coming with mafia 2 and tekken 6

Use the latest version of multiman then and try it with an external drive with a disc in the blu ray dirve at all times for the game to work. Mafia 2 and tekken 6 should work.

Are these the only games u have the Black Screen. Both boot fine for me. Did u try premissions , what BDEMU are u running?

I am using the latest version of multiman. Wil try running it from external HDD.

I am using BDEMU2. the one mentioned in jailbreak guide by itskamel

Is this the cause of games giving black screen ?

Ok do not use bdemu2 as that is not required anymore by multiman. And if you still get a black press select+ on the controller on to launch the game. See if that helps you out.

I seems the game should run fine on multiple settings. The only thing might be is that the fame may contain 4GB+ files and so I must ask how did you copy the game over? where all files copied successfully?

I copies all files through FTP and yes all files were copied. I did a file test to check the number of files.
