I am re-posting just in case my previous post is missed (the one I quoted here).

To exclude certain titles it would require to change their PARAM.SFO file. You can do it with the aid of the SFOeditor PC application. You can't edit PARAM.SFO fields in mM at the moment, although it sounds like a good idea.

I did. constantly. Then I updated to 4.01, and it got even worse.
Went back to 02.09.02 and everything is fine. |

A quick solution: Copy the "adult" games to an external drive, and connect it only when the kids are not around

Hey guys I have a question about playing split files on MM. For some reason the mm xmb says that my game is split, but is not installing the game data into the cache. The game I'm trying is Dynasty Warriors 7 which has been confirmed to work split. Is there any possible way I can force MM to cache the 4gb plus file that has been split? My PS3 is on 3.41 FW with Hermes V4 and the latest version of MM. If it helps, I used split4G to split the 4G file.

eg. _BLES00000 -> BLES00000 If that doesn't work, it should work copying the big file manually to the cache folder (via FTP or joining the split files using the File Manager)..

I cannot seem to use the copy or create ISO functionality at all with the latest Multiman (or any of them for that matter). Right now i would like to back up my Blu-Ray movie to my internal hard drive (plenty of space available). I see the blu-ray disk in the video column and click triangle on it and if i choose create ISO, it does nothing just like i hit Circle to exit. If i choose copy, then select internal hard drive and select yes to copy it, it says Please wait and shows transferring 1 file of 0.0GB size, and it stays there infinitely long. I ran BDEMU2 for 3.55 which i am on and i am running KMEAW. Any ideas?

Before you try to copy/createISO from non-PS3 disc, go to SETTINGS, press [TRIANGLE] and "Enable Direct Disc Mode". It will allow your PS3 to read/access non-PS3 discs. Have in mind that the ISO may be encrypted (always is if you rip retail BD/DVD discs). If the disc is encrypted, your best option is to create ISO directly to your PC (/net_host), decrypt it and transfer it back to the PS3.
