OK I'm really thing about going back to OFW. No im not mad at anyone and I understand that making a CFW is not easy to do. Its just been a long time sence i got online to play any of my games. Buying a new PS3 has come across my mind many time but money talks and bull **** walks and I have a family to take care of so its not that easy to do. I need to know if going back to OFW is easy? Do I have to do anything special? or do I just need to update? Trust me when I say I would rather not go back to OFW but it seems to me that Sony had won this one. I mite be wrong on that and I hope I am Cuz i hate how Sony runs ****. For those few that are still trying to crack the PS3 good luck and thank you for all the work you guys have put in. You guys made my PS3 way better than it was when I first got it.

buy a flasher and dual boot, that would cut the cost and allow you to play your new games

and yes its easy, just go to system update if you don't have rebug's version spoofer. if you do, then turn it off and repeat step one :P

Thanks for the info. I looked into the dual boot or the flasher and I was not big into that but I thank you anyways for the info. I just hope something comes out before I decide to update to 4.10. Even better if I can pull some over time at the Job. Ill just buy a new PS3 for on line use.

In the end I went back to OFW. Everything I wanted my PS3 to be able to do, my laptop really does better anyway to be quite honest. Not that I don't think it is still a worthy cause, I just re-assessed my personal situation and decided that for me it really had no purpose other than a pathological obsession with combining all my entertainment needs into a single device. A lofty goal, but really doomed to end in failure. I like variety too much to be pinned down to a single platform.
