He almost became full super saiyan! I could see it in him in his eyes. Very inspirational, I want to be a super saiyan too, but im aiming higher. I always wanted to fly and i find when jumping off of a couch the only reason it doesn't work is because it is not challenging enough and in my mind i a m forced to second guess myself. So this is what I'm going to do. I'm going to go to the roof of a tall building where i know that there is no safety net beneath me.I will focus my mind to the point where i know i am the super hero that i always knew i could be. And when you see me flying above you all then you will no longer say it is impossible! It is possible! Just don't copy my cape!

that's a "disturbed" vision of the reality, like japsander said. the guy thinks that, just by wanting really hard, he'll get it. Obviously not. For him to achieve what he wants, he must either : find a way to "scientifically" do so, or train his mind and body every day for that to happen. And yes, i believe he will succeed some day if he does one of the above, but only if he provides the needed "work" for that goal.

I used to have these sorts of thoughts before i was sent to a mental hospital for 2 months with heavy medication. So yeah, that way he won't go anywhere

The video was amusing. I didn't find it funny but it was interesting to watch. This kid is obviously trolling and if he's not then he needs serious help. I'm all for having a vivid imagination but if you ignore reality it's bound to come and punch you in the nuts eventually. No matter how hard you "believe" you're Superman, if you jump off a building you won't magically develop the ability to fly. All you'll get is instant death and that's reality ignoring the fact that you're ignoring it.

There are two little girls in my neighborhood (5 and 4 years old) and I love them very much. When the older one got her room, I used one of her walls to draw a bunch of different cartoon characters having fun in the woods (OMG PIRACY!!) and later on, she persuaded the younger girl that if she "believes" hard enough and runs towards the wall, she'll "jump inside" the picture. Needles to say, the younger girl walked around with a pretty large bump on her forehead for a while (fortunately, she didn't run too fast). That's reality.

It was actually pretty much like this, only instead of Troy and Abed, imagine two little girls.

Now, imagine it's your own child. What would you tell her? Would you tell her it's not possible or to just run faster next time (and crack her skull) because "anything IS possible"? I have a kid of my own and hopefully some day you will too so I'm curious about this.
