PSN Trophy Manager?

Hi

I'm quite new to all this and will try to CFW my PS3 as soon as it's possible with the currently latest firmware.

Now my question (excuse me for being a noob): Is there something like a trophy manager? For PC there is a Steam and GFWL Achievement manager, simply allowing you to unlock achievements. Is there something like this for PSN too? Logging in with your PSN, selecting the achievements and it sends the message to the PSN server that your account unlocked this achievement. Just like the GFWL or Steam managers work. It should be possible right?

Is there some way to do that? There are some achievements that can't be unlocked (due to dead multiplayer mode for example) and I really don't like seeing a game at under 100%

If it's not possible please feel free to explain the reason to me. Thank you for bearing with my noobie ass.

In order to use the trophy server you MUST sign into PSN, sorry but that's the way it is, as long as your console is on cfw it shall never touch that server until, and this is wishful thinking, a new cfw comes out.

Yeah but my console doesn't have CFW yet. It's perfectly fine to go on PSN.

If you update to the latest firmware, you won't be able to install CFW. You have to downgrade via hardware methods and unless you have an old NAND model doing so will format your hard disk.

I see.

But it should be possible if you have a talented coder to make such program for PC right? It shouldn't be that much different from the way the Steam and GFWL Achievement Managers work. All you'd basically need is to know what the PS3 sends to the PSN server in order to unlock the trophy.

That pretty much rests on Sony, wether they want to or not is up to them, I personally wish trophies were "exportable" and importable like so, but on the other hand I do see it getting abused. Then again IF Sony does create exportable trophy files the ps3 wouldn't be able to export it unless a new OFW makes it happen. Now I know you can extract trophy files from an FTP system, but in the end, if Sony implements said system I'd robably expect them to make it key-based.

What does Sony have to do with it? I am talking about a program that "exploits" the trophy system I guess you could say. Instead of the PS3 + game sending the "this dude just got an achievement" to the PSN server, you use a program some talented coder made. That's why I was comparing this to the Steam Achievement Manager the whole time.

Ok first off the user who repeated what you said is a bot.... I.e not a real person, you'll be seeing them alot until we can have their **** blocked. XD

As for the rest of your post I'm confused. Do you mean an alternate server or just some way in general to get into the server?
