If this does indeed turn out to be true, I would bet a bunch of cash on a lot of people working on a firmware downgrader. Infectus managed to downgrade a 1.6 to a 1.5 so I would assume more work would be done on that side of things ?

In the world of ps3hacking, yes it does make sense to be put a team guilty until proven innocent.

In the real world everybody is innocent while some are guilty, in the ps3 hacking world, everybody is guilty of fakes until they can prove other wise with some ACTUAL DATA, or PROOF.

an image is not proof, a video without any loading whatsoever is not proof, words without any meaning to them are not proof.

Everybody can say I made a loader and this and that. So what they are telling the truth? Maybe, but they have to proved that they are. HENCE, guilty until proven innocent, if you want to look at it that way.

are we 100% sure the update patched the hole?

Two things:

1) If the thread continues like this about arguing and flaming each other, I'll close the thread immediately.

2) I was saying that yes, they are innocent until proven guilty, just like the real world. Sure, they may not have any proof, but think of this as a trial. They're the defendant and everyone else in the PS3 hacking scene is the jury. Now Group SLUMP hasn't done anything to prove their completely innocent yet, because they've shown no proof, so the jury is leaning against guilty of fraud, which everyone thinks so far. But if Group SLUMP produces that one piece of evidence on March 23, then the jury will be all over that, because they were proven innocent, if the I.LOADER works.

So, they may or may not be complete fakes. Who knows? We're going to have to wait a few days to find out, but luckily we haven't had any crazy hype over it to get dissapointed. I know I won't, that's for sure, but if it turns out to be real then I'll be pretty happy =)
