i'm not being an ass, yes it's Sony's code, but reversed and recompiled with psl1ght in order to work with 3.55...

That would require patching of 3.55 system files, according to VIRGIN_KLM, I'm assuming he knows what he's talking about... and I have no clue how to do any of that.
It is interesting to note, whatever CobraUSB is doing, they got it right. On my non-BC PS3, I've gotten almost all my PS2 isos to at least boot. there's some serious glitches in most of them, but a few are almost playable. Sony did put a good effort in on ps2_softemu.self, but to be honest pcsx2 on a mid-range PC runs most of the titles I tested better.
