Actually, on their sites download page, there's a 2.5 update; so chances are, the newest batch of tb eboots are compatible with it.

Lol, there must be a tear of sorrow in the TB teams eye. so much lost profit. well we can see how cheap it is to actually make these dongles so they´ve made a killing already.
I´m sure lightake is still happy though. they have BD-r pirates to sell to all dongle users. I think this lessens the chance of those eboots popping up for HDD.
I hope this brings up the chances of this being cracked. or maybe some DIY clone chips will pop up.

eboots are probably compatible since there are some proofs that TB and jb2usb are made by the same people. It is also some proof that rumour about TB v2 laid out by GraVoX is true...

With your OFW console I'm sure you can. And I'm sure that's great. I however don't want to lose my CFW functionality and still want to be able to play 3.60+ game that I HAVE BOUGHT (freebies is a bonus).

It's much quicker and easier for me to switch between CFW installs (including a TB CFW) than it is for me to switch between OFW and CFW. In fact without hardware I can't at all.

Swapping from KMEAW to Rebug take me less than 10 minutes now I have a method sussed and all the required firmwares, patches and distro in installable packages.

I'd love a second PS3 but my finances wouldn't allow it (and besides the kids would nick it). Beyond that it was Sony that pulled the plug on the functionality I wanted, not me, so why should I be forced to update to another pointless FW revision or put more money in their pockets by buying a second PS3?

You may be lucky enough to be in a situation that affords you the luxury of an OFW machine. Not everyone is. Seven tenths of the world lives virtually hand to mouth, gaming is already a luxury allowed only to a minority why should the barriers to entry continue to be raised because a company didn't properly product plan it's market offering?

I would have thought a "super" moderator on a hacking cracking site would be somewhat more broadminded but I respect your opinion regardless.

Nice one for supporting the further erosion of your consumer rights. Sony can protect the PSN all they like - they have every right - but the hardware in my home is MINE.

We're pretty lucky in the "first world" to have what we have but we seem happy to piss it away.
