Ok i think this is good way but i don't know is 100% A-B point, this is a SIDE-A when open a ps3 VER-001 and if check the position in SIDE-B is very close to SISCON sony, this is a way?
@TDCroPower2 tell me this is a good way! http://img72.imageshack.us/img72/2104/dscn1863copia.jpg

i don't have perfect pictures, but here the CE point or how the E3 Team says the A point for the 3 FAT NOR Boards...
... solder the 20 Ohm resistor out... ![]() ... connect the left point (CE) to the SBCE point on the E3 Flexcable ... ![]() it works 100% and it is for DIA-001, DIA-002 and VER-001 Boards !!! forget the e3 team with there stupid mapping and old news !!!!!

@TDCroPower2
, simply the best bro !
Just did SBCE point on my DIA-001 and all good'n dandy dual boot works flawlessly 3.55 <-> 4.11 sweeeet ![]() As mentioned before yep you have to get rid of resistor first. Once again man jolly good job, have a good one

@TDCroPower2
SUCCESS!!! thank you so much for all your patience and effort on making dual boot for us on motherboard VER 001
![]() First off, I'd like to say that by using TDCroPower2's pics and little tut I was able to successfully achieve dual boot on motherboard VER 001. However, being the nice guy that I am, I would like to share my experience with you guys, but I just have to issue the following warning : **WARNING** FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO LACK THE EXPERIENCE ABOUT SOLDERING, DON'T HAVE STEADY HANDS AND PATIENCE, OR SIMPLY ARE JUST AFRAID TO OPEN UP THE PS3 AND FOLLOW THIS PROCEDURE, DO NOT DO IT, AS THE SOLDERING POINT ON THE PIC IS VERY, VERY TINY, INVOLVES SCRAPING A VERY SMALL RESISTOR OFF FROM YOUR MOTHERBOARD AND ALSO SITS RIGHT NEXT TO THE NOR CHIP, WHICH MEANS RE-SETTING YOUR CLIP AGAIN, AS I DID TOO. THERE'S ALSO A GREAT RISK OF DAMAGING THE FLEX CABLE THAT GOES TO YOUR E3 FLASHER, AS YOU'LL BE USING A HOT SOLDERING IRON TO SOLDER A THIN CABLE TO THE SBCE POINT. IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE SKILLS TO DO IT, HAVE SOMEONE WITH ENOUGH EXPERIENCE TO DO IT. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! ![]() Now, without further ado, and after assessing the risks involved and you feel comfortable following my own steps, make sure you have the following: * a soldering Iron * some flux paste (to make sure the solder flows properly) * a small flat head screwdriver * some good light (I used one of those LED lights that wrap around your head) * small wire (I used a cable that I pulled from an old USB cable, as this wire has the right size for the project) * some solder (I used High-Tech Silver-Bearing Solder from Radio Shack) * some Q-tips * and last, but not least, LOTS of patience ![]() So here are the steps I followed: 1) if your doing this for the first time and you don't know how to open your PS3, here's a nice video: How To Install E3 Flasher - Downgrade 3.73 - PS3 - YouTube 2) after you open your ps3, locate the resistor on your motherboard following the nice pics provided by TDCroPower2 (Thanks again bro, you're a genius! )3) Once you locate the CORRECT resistor (make sure is the right one, you don't want to accidentally scrape the wrong one! ) using a Q-tip, put some flux paste onto this resistor and after that apply some heat with the soldering iron. Keep it in there until you notice the solder starts to melt from it. At the same time, gently and VERY CAREFULLY, start scraping the resistor off the motherboard.4) once is completely off the motherboard, be ready to do some serious soldering. Notice the two tiny connections on the motherboard from the resistor you just scraped (Yes, is THAT small) you'll be soldering your tiny wire into the left (CE point, according to pic). One suggestion that I give you is to tin the wire before you try to solder it into this point, since this will make the task a lot easier. 5) So now, that you have stripped a small portion of both ends in your wire and tin both ends, your ready to solder (Guys, I can't stress this enough, PLEASE BE CAREFUL, as you'll be using a hot soldering iron. You don't wanna harm yourselves or your dear ps3's )6) Solder one end to the SBCE point on the flex cable from your E3 flasher ( be careful around it!) one thing that help me was to apply some flux paste into this point to make the solder flow. don't apply too much, as you want the wire to be precisely soldered into this point. 7) Now, you need to solder the other end into the LEFT side of the connection (AKA CE point) Dab a little amount of flux into this tiny spot and apply heat to the connection. It might take a few tries, as it happened to me, but patience paid off afterwards. So don't give up if at first doesn't come out right. Keep trying until you get a solid connection there. 8) Once you successfully achieve a solid connection on both ends, make sure your E3 Nor Clip is set properly down onto the chip. I used scotch tape to wrap around the flex cable and secure it onto the motherboard in order to put it back in place. 9) Start closing back your ps3. make sure that you don't pull from this tiny little cable as you do, since you don't want all your effort to be in vain ![]() 10) Once your ps3 is completely reassembled, connect all your wires, Sata station, Etc. 11) Now make sure you follow the tutorial from the beginning of this thread, and follow it until it tells you to upgrade to Original Firmware 4.00 (or 4.11, since it works with the new one also). Make sure you follow that tutorial step by step, without skipping anything (just don't do the 'Downgrade' part at the end, as it wasn't necessary, you can skip that) If you follow these steps closely and you did it right, you should be able to do the Dual Boot from 3.55 <==>4.11 without any issues. (you'll be grinning too! )Thanks again @TDCroPower for your dedication and @kman82 for that re-upload of the tut from E3 team from 'Chingrish' to English. Best wishes to you guys and hope this tut had helped you too. PM me if you have any questions!
