Dump NOR from GameOS (dump_flash.pkg ) trustfull/usefull like it is from progskeet or E3?

dumps the flash straight from game_os so yes useful even if you don't own a flasher
Do you need any particular firmware to use dump_flash.pkg ? How long does it take ? Is the result 100% identical to what you get if you'd dump it with a flasher ?

ofc you need 3.55 cfw otherwise you can't run the pkg
and yes for nor it's 100% identical to a hardware flasher dump

I mean , do you need any special cfw with patches such as ss patches or anything will do ( like tb , kmeaw or cobra cfw ) ? I tried to use it on tb cfw , launched the app then screen turned black . I left it like that for about 20 minutes untill i got tired of waiting and turned it off . Back on the stick there was a flash.bin file of around 1MB , which of course was incomplete . That's why i was asking how much does it take to dump it all , if 20 minutes will get you 1MB then...you do the math..

I made a NOR dump in Game Os using TB CFW and dump_flash.pkg . When checking it with Flowrebuilder i get a "Failed to Extract" . I can't imagine how it could be a bad dump since i did it by software . Could it be because of the cfw used ?

maybe it isn't byte reversed?

so use bytereverse and extract a nor dump

if that doesn't work try extract a bytereversed nor dump

I dumped it using Kmeaw , it extracted fine using Extract a Byte reversed NOR dump or an interleaved and unscrambled NAND dump. and it only took a second ( wow ! )
With Byte reverse and extract a NOR dump file. it took around 2 minutes with a corrupted file error at the end ( so that didn't work )

How exactly do i compare to the list of files stored in NOR Flash from devwiki ? Do i CTRL+F one by one and check that's in there ? There's got to be a better/faster way ..
