hey i have a phat running on 3.6 how do i go about this i needa solder for the phat one rite but i also have a slim that can run 3.73 im knew to this and im buying the exact same e3 from a buddy of mine.

No i didnt change any....just pressed the combination as required for L1,L2,L3,R1,R2,down arrow...got to see more items thats it..

If your phat one is a nor chip model, it will work, no soldering needed. If your slim did not come with a higher firmware than 3.55 when it was new, it will also work.

You do not have to solder unless u brick.

start logging... backup PS3 BIOS. fail to initialize E3 Nor.

I have a CECHK01 ( DIA-002 ) , what do i have to do to get at least a backup ?
I only succeded to get one , and it was BAD . Every other attempt gave me the above error . Do i need to use a specific UPDATE.BIN ? I used 2011.10.28 update Samsung
I wiped the connectors with Alcohol , i applied a nice piece of foam over it , like in Khalkhedon's video . Is the clip damaged , should i get another one ?

After you press the clip onto the nor until it clicks, press it some more very firmly. Then tape it down real good. Also tape where it connects to the e3 card and anywhere else you feel might make it move while putting it back together.

That error is from it not being connected good enough. I know it can be a pain. The first couple ps3's I did, I had to take them apart a bunch of times to get it on good.

I would like to see a video. And if you can think of anything that is different from this guide that you did. Or something different about your ps3.

with this guide I can use the same E3 flasher on more than 1 ps3, or only one?

Yes. You can use the same E3 Flasher on as many PS3's as you like. Use the Samsung 10.28.2011 update.bin, to update your flasher before each PS3.
