i need to learn how to open my ps3 is a slim one i dont know what you need to know to help me if you tell me i follow your steps to givr you the info you need i want to play paback up games and i need to know if i can enter to play mw3 in the net is the only game i play in the net please let me know i really want to make this possible.

1. what firmware version?
if over 3.55 then you are **** outta luck unless you downgrade (console must have been on 3.55 or lower at some point) this requires a hardware flasher too. click on the "scene status" logo above

2. there is no psn with a hacked ps3

ok sorry but im new on this i dont remeber if my ps3 once be in that revision , another stuff were is the "scene status" logo i cant find it and one more question ok i got it no more mw3 but were i can dl good games? torrent?

there is a pup that can be used to check the base firmware on a PS3 if you want to know how low your firmware downgrade can go
