You cat downgrade without a hardware flasher from 3.60+ 3.56 is getting confusing with jfw.

I had this guy tell me that after he qa flagged his ps3, when he tried to downgrade with a OFW3.41 PUP in recovery mode, and it took him to his consoles minimum firmware.

He seems to think there is a way to get your system to go to it's factory firmware without it on a usb. Like it's hidden in the ps3 somewhere.

I think he is full of it though. He said he was gonna make a video and haven't heard from him.

@godking666 , I didn't mean the ps3 I got today was on 1.97. I used the minimum firmware checker pup and it said 1.97. It was actually on 3.72 when I got it.

Lol, I read his post. He's either full of it, or he's forgetting something very important that makes what he said completely wrong anyway. Don't waste your time testing what he said.

hes full of it , he got on nervers yesturday,he think he knows every think and was calling other people noobs etc , when he hasnt got a clue hisself

Hmm. I can't seem to find OFW 1.97 anywhere. You might want to jump on #ps3dev, maybe ask Eussnl, or Defyboy, they're usually around.
