cex appeared and i enabled update system debug ,but i got error "the data is corrupted (8002f829)" when used rogero cfw v3 to update from xmb
when i tried with ofw 3.55 i got 80029c9c


and error "the data is corrupted 8002f2c5" when trying to update from recovery menu


i am still open to any other ideas or modifications regarding this method


P.S if i copy ofw 3.55 over dev_flash over jfw 3.56 will i be able to boot after it in your opinion,and if it boots but stays on jfw will it keep qa flagging

Well then you could try coping a 3.55 dev_flash over it, but like I said I haven't tested it, it could be problematic.

IMO if it worked once for someone it should work again. There's no reason why it shouldn't. It shouldn't matter what 3.55 dev_flash you use as long as it came from a CFW (if you choose a OFW dev_flash you won't be able to install homebrew packages). Remember the system will still be essentially 3.56 JFW, with a 3.55 dev_flash. You will still retain QA settings. Using a 3.55 dev_flash on JFW 'might' let you downgrade from recovery, but I don't know. Make sure you have qaflag_extra installed, its needed for QA downgrade.

i have copied on dev_flash ofw 3.55 i have got rid of usless jfw stuff,system info will give me ps3 is on 3.55 but on recovery mode 3.56

and there is still no way to switch firmware

now from xmb i get the data is corrupted 8002f976 if i try to to update with rogero
qa flag cex still there

i wonder what TechnoDon did at this point

If you wanted to remove the JFW XMB mods that would have been easier to do.

my ps3 isnt accepting any firmware at the moment,don't know what to do next,should i copy dev_flash of ofw 3.41 to dev_blind to see if after it i will be on 3.31 and be able to update regularly to 3.55,i don't even know if i am on 3.56 or 3.55 at the present time and i cant install pkg's except from qa flagging

if you are on 3.56 or higher face the truth there is at the moment no downgrade possible without hardware like i.e. e3flasher.

my console is nand e3 is for nor,

things got a little worse although i am on 3.55 from system info i can not install firmwares or install packages of any kind either from qa flagging,guess technoDon method wasn't a good idea after all

it wont permit me even if i try to update to 3.56 jfw ,that issue was there when i was on jfw 3.56 also it didn't permit to update same jfw on jfw

now i am on a 3.55 ofw that wont let neither install packages or firmwares

i think there must be jfw garbage resident somewhere that wont enable me to update firmwares on the console just as before copying to dev_blind ofw 3.55

any clues ???

if u qa flag your ps3 on 3.55 there is a way to qa flag downgrade as the token never got changed till 3.60 , plus hes on 3.56 cfw not 3.56 ofw

bet u wished u never upgrade to 3.56 cfw but i understand why u did becuse u thought u could get back via mad . them bloddy liers !!

what about reinstall jfw stuff via ftp or file manger , the stuff u changed to try and get back to how it was on jfw

i can't reistall jfw there isn't any homebrew on it as i reformated everything and it wont let me install them again

as if that was not enough i said to my self lets try to to install 4.11 ofw online,let me see if it gets over 81% (other updates never reached this far) i wanted to interrupt it at 90% ,this ws experiment to see if someone have a way out with latest updates . . . well there isn't,it gave an error at 70%

YOU CAN'T EVEN UPDATE TO LATEST FIRMWARE ONCE YOU INSTALL JFW 3.56

those spanish guys are criminals,i will try the n900 phone psfreedom these next few days and keep you updated by the way if someone have any better ideas or updates write them here
