Ok so basically if your ps3 turns off after few seconds usually means corrupt bios and shuts it self off as a security protocol or it's wrong FW Bios flashed.
So basically after you flash my bios I uploaded it turns on but no video or HDD activity right?

Alright next step is to leave it on and flash any of your own bios that you have, once done that leave ps3 on don't turn off your ps3 very important and put downgrade.bin file with your bios you just flashed previous step and push reset 3 times to make sure and push start. From there Ill tell you what to do after you pass these steps successfully

Thank you ! Pro.Hack , I managed to make it work.
1. Flash your bios. After that the console stays online, but no hdd activity and no video
2. Shut down the console put one of my pached firmware using FlashFun Mode (100000). After that I have just 1 second of hdd activity and no video, the Power button does not work after power on (I can not shut down the console using that power button).
3. Unplug the console from power cord.
4. Put the service mode dongle
5. Downgrade using PUP file and lvl2diag. After power on again there is no video , but have hdd activity.
6. Put the lvl2diag to exit service mode and after power on the console works 100%

a jailbreak dongle is for jailbreaking/ homebrew etc
fsm dongle is for putting the ps3 into factory service mode

also answer the proper question exactly whats modded about that dump cos theres no mod at all its an original dump from a console that was on 3.56 and was updated then to 3.73

Taking in account that you use a jailbreak dongle programmed to enter in fsm we can tell that this is a FSM dongle.

By jailbreak many think of homebrew, unlocking...and not fsm, like the desired result.

In the end, is called what it is doing, fsm

A dongle is different story, not to be confused with psp.
Basically it's adds functionality to a system or change the state in our case.

Also you are contradicting yourself.
On some posts you are saying that you can unbrick without a good bios dump using your dump (like on post 65) on others you are saying that you need a good bios dump (like on post 67)
Make up your mind and explain what your dump dose, argues like "better try my tutorial than find issues in it" wont worth the risk trying it.
You have to understand that before to follow a tutorial a user must understand it, how to apply it and what it does.
It may not be applicable to all bricks, depending from situation to situation.

i would like u to try the steps without flashing your modded dump
has when u solder tristate the console will turn on anyway and stay on has tristate halts the system bus allowing u to reflash whatever dump u want to
and ur dump CAN NOT fix any bricked console ( u need the dump from the console itself or else its dead never to be returned)
each console has its own unique files.

We are just here to try and help others learn what we have, by trial and error. You just jump in trying to argue with everyone, saying they are wrong. When you probably don't even have an e3 flasher and have no idea what works and what doesn't.

Why don't you just leave it be. If it works for some, then good. If it doesn't, then oh well. No need for you to try and say he is lying or just wanting to argue.

And btw, when you gonna give me that link to ps3devwiki that says you can downgrade to OFW if you enter fsm twice

Yes each console does have unique encryption, but you fail to realize that in the process in my guide, it eliminates that option for the console to do an ID check sort of speak in order to flash successfully but it only works on some consoles with specific bricks. That is why in many pages I have said you will need a good back up and others Ive said you dont need it because I was discussing there specific issues only 1 of the 2 well work and I know of which will work based on the information they have gave me.

I have my reasons to say certain things that to a blind person could see as a contradictory and want to be a lawyer in the forums and argue with me.

This sort of things aren't suppose to make sense to many people but to me it does so therefor I'd like to share that knowledge with everyone else.

i havent come on here to argue with anyone i came on and asked a simple question which still hasnt been answered, it just got worked around all the time. ( i also have helped alot of people too).
i also never said it didnt work.... read back and u will see i actualy said good but what was modded?? (i also said i was just curious) ( u two decided to knock me therefore the aguing started)
