Hi all

I am on CFW 3.55 kmeaw, can I connect internet to my ps3 just to play other things like youtube. I know I cann't update my FW neither I can go to PSN, but I want to use internet on ps3 for other use, is it possible ??

Internet connection is fine. Just be aware of games asking for updates if connected

Okay I wont update any game , but do ps3 update itself automatically ??

you can just use an online patched fw if you're so unsure you'll update.

NO PS3 don't ever update if you don't go to System update and update it via USB or Internet

Games may also ask you to update your FW, but even they have to give you the option.

You can only update by agreeing, so just make sure if a game asks you to update it is a game update and not a FW update before you agree
