While I dont understand how a speedhack(ie. changing at what rate the time in the system increments, in the view of the process) would work for increasing download speed, it might be able to do something. However, that download rate sounds a bit fishy. I have a hard time believing its your cheat engine that is doing that change..
with a 30Mbit connection, you _physically_ are able to download with - at most 30/8 = 3,75MB/s, if I am not wrong? Your 12.9 MB/s corresponds to approximately the speed of a 100Mb connection.
No matter what you do on your computer, it should not be able to modify the limits your ISP places on your connection.

Anyway, regardless of how, great you are capable of achieving such speeds, quite nifty.

If you click the icon in the bottom right corner of utorrent.

Then run tests.

Utorrent will run speed tests and port forward test. Then it will pick the best settings for you.

Click save settings.

I get between 3.0M and 4.2M on a 32M connection.

@Besart , let me ask you this: How many seeds does the torrent have? How many leechers does it have? These are key in determining if you should be getting a slow download rate.

For example: If there aren't many seeds but many leechers: expect to get a good portion downloaded from other leechers pretty quickly. If there aren't many seeds and many leechers prepare to get low download rates. If there aren't much of both, prepare to have nothing for quite a while. If there are many seeds, then hope they all have good upload rates and you'll be getting good download rates in no time.

It also depends on how many seeds you connect to at once, there's also the chance that your ISP is throttling you (nothing you can do about it). Sometimes it can also depend on your upload rate, if your ISP does not allow you to upload (some do) you could have slower download rates no matter what in some cases.

Remember you can only download as fast as they upload, if there is only one seed and he's uploading at an incredibly slow rate, you can only download at that rate, there is NOTHING you can do about it.

PS: If this is your first time torrenting and you were expecting it to be as fast as DDLs then you're sorely mistaken. Also if you have no idea what I'm talking about and are lost expecting some miracle for faster downloads out of no where please give up now.

Honestly, you're complaining on a forum completely unrelated to torrent troubleshooting. Somehow it's our job to assist you in your pirating... how? I would quickly stop posting, you clearly do not understand what it is you are doing apart from click and download then *****.

Go ask for help in your torrent client's forums NOT HERE. You will MORE THAN LIKELY at this point NOT BE ABLE TO DOWNLOAD FASTER. If it takes a week it takes a week ACCEPT IT AND MOVE ON.

Some people who download games from the internet are not pirates. They own the game but their ps3 wont copy the game to the HDD. So they download a copy that they own.
