Hi all ,

Today when i wanted to play on my friend T.V , i connected my ps3 normaly

and becuz he got old T.V do not support HDMI , i connected the ps3 through

Compenent wires , it failed to display a signal cuz i was playing on HDMI on my

T.V , so i restored my PS3 through safe mode , it ran smooth , but when i tried

to lunch a game it fails and i get this msg .

" registration of the trophy information could not be completed , the game will

Quit "

every single game shows this even if i run a CD .

for example i deleted all the save game for COD-MW2 and the installed data

and then tried to run it from the Hard but it failed , i did the same i deleted

save game , data , and the game it self from the hard , tried to run it from

the orginal CD but it failed again . :S

i searched for a solution on the web , some said del the trophy folder but

i failed to connect my ps3 to the pc .

i got one solution left but it will consume loooooooooooong time to do , and

i dont know if it will work or no . which is copying my games from my ps3

to a flash stick and put them on my PC . then format the ps3 and put

the games back to the ps3 . can someone confirm this if it will let

me play my games ????? or if there any easier way to solve this problem ???

I would backup all your game saves and anything you want to keep on USB drive and re-install the FW.


PS when you want to change Video settings all you need to do is hold the power button until it beeps once, that's it. Your ps3 will shut down and you start it up with default Video

thnx for the reply , but when i re-install the FW do i need to install orginal 3.55 FW then

the costum one ????

fixed , i installed rebug 3.55.2 and i deleted the trophies and the game worked like charm
