Huge problems with my e3 flasher ive done all as people have said on my fat no luck so i tried on my slim. made sure clip was pushed down as far as it goes taped it down everywhere but when i dunp the nor im still getting error wich is

start logging...
backup PS3 BIOS.
fail to initialize E3 Nor.

i ijust cant seem to win with this any help or ideas would be apprecaited

i got it before i saw this but on video is say nor must be 16,777,216KB does it need to be that?

Try and try again.

I have done about 12 PS3's with my flasher and some are just a pain to get the clip on good.

Someone dropped 2 off to me last night. I must of took the first one I started apart 10 times, maybe more. I was gonna give up.

I finally used some blue duct tape I had with a couple nickels on top of the clip. I know duct tape sounds a little overboard, but I was getting pissed.
But it seemed to do the trick, I finally got 3 good backups and got the stupid thing downgraded.

The other one he dropped off, I got the clip on correctly with the first try. LOL. I was so relieved.

All I can say is keep trying and find something to make a permanent push on the clip.

I know it's frustrating. I spent all night trying and kept getting that same error you are. I finally had to sleep and after a few more tries this morning, the duct tape and nickels did the trick. LOL.

If u have a psp.

I use my psp to enter fsm, with an app called PSJig. But the app only works on firmware 5.50.
