Help with spiderman 3
I cant make this game work. I tried select+X, permission but nothing. Still error 8000017. i have searched for eboot fix and patches to no avail. please help.
I'm on ps3slim 3.55 kmeaw. with external 1tb hdd. |

i never played it but i can't imagine it being a >3.55 game considering its age. try dumping the game to internal to see if it works like that.
does it work from disc on your ps3? |

Spiderman 3 is not a greater than 3.55 firmware game, I'm guessing you downloaded this from the internet, if you have then this was one of the early releases before jailbreaks or CFW or backup managers or even dongles, therefore Spiderman 3 would not work.

i could never get an english version to work. All copies on the net are a watse of your time. best to find the game and rip a copy. it should work fine

can someone explain why? i thought all games have been dumped the same since they could be. idk how folder dumping could go wrong

Spiderman 3 was dumped earlier before the days of jail breaking and CFW, therefore will not work.
