Seems your right simon, someone said to try it without an internet connection but didn't fix it here, seems it might be a region issue? The version i am trying is usa and my console is pal..wonder if it's that?

Have you changed the original files of portal for those in the true blue patch? I mean, PS3 folder etc? I think they are som 30 files you have to change/add

ikefix, seems its a problem with portal 2 not the dongle as people are having the same problem with the original version of the game http://forums.steampowered.com/forum...php?p=28806392 i am using latest multiman and have replaced all of the files you mentioned.

Yes mate, also tried what someone said on the steam forum restoring file system but still the same

There are other files (patched I believe) besides the eboot.bin that you are supposed to replace. They should be bundled with the eboot.bin in the Paradox TB fix.

Well it does when you don't actually have a graphics card and you are relying on the onboard graphics of a 3+ year old machine, this was my first proper graphics card and i feel Skyrim was well worth me buying it for.

Yeah i replaced them all, people with original copies of the game have had this problem so it is nothing to do with patched files.
