Ive read that most websites say for you to get into Vita's Recovery Mode you need to first hold down the power button + R1 + Start
(which also works)

but ive found an easier way, all you really need to do is hold down the power button until the NGP turns off, keep it held down, it will begin to boot up, & then you will see its booted into recovery mode

Also, it's not the start button, it's the PS button for the old method.

Edit: I also just wanted to point out that the "old" method is actually faster and easier, as you don't have to wait the extra 20+ seconds for the system to reboot, it simply boots directly into recovery from a powered off state.

not being funny but how do u know he didnt find that out hisself ?
just cos its on some other site ,

eg lets say i got a vita and i held down the power buttton to see what it does, just like you do on the ps3 etc to get in to the recovery mode .
any way i did it and wow i got into recoverymode on vita just lernt this .
never went to anysite to find this out . so i told people on ps3 hax about it but i get told, i didnt find this out cos its on some other site before i wrote it .

so how does thats work out . i wouldnt be the 1st person to find this out but i did find it out my self


so really just becuse it was on a another site dont mean he didnt find it out his self m8

Well, let's just say I had come on here saying "I found a way to get to the PS3's Recovery Menu! All by myself! No help!", and it was legitimately true; Would you use that same argument do defend my case? No. Because the info is out to the public.

And I mainly know he didn't bc it's on the 1st page of google results, which he said he'd looked for in his OP. But anyway, moving right along...

This isn't harassment gliitch, I simply don't like it when people try to pass off other people's work as their own. If you want to pretend you found it, feel free, but don't try to fool the other members on hax.

Yeah I found this out unitentionally when I stupidly didn't pause my PS3 game via remote play, then started screwing about with settings etc, and then I went back to my game and my Vita froze lol. Held the power button down for ages and then got the recovery menu but it's cool to spread the word!
