Please read and understand what i have write.

I don't write something about a Ohm, what i mean is the resistor what have 20 Ohm! This resistor you must unsolder to break the connecten between the the bus and the nor!

I noticed in the tutorial on page 7 it doesn't say anything about the NOR tristate so I am just asking to clarify but we do still need to have the NOR tristate soldered to SBE right?

you have to solder SBE-Point to NOR tristate if your console got bricked during downgrade-process or to use e3 Flash-Fun Mode.

@ldh888 , yeah i had similar issue but that was my mistake. I had dual boot up and running fine but once i mixed up HDD and FW so like had OFW and CFW HDD in and then it YLOD on me, stupid
So anyway CFW was still working but when I tried to run OFW it didnt even bother to read HDD just got RSOD(red screen of u know what).
I knew it wasnt HW fault as CFW was still going so I followed this:
http://psx-scene.com/forums/content/ps3-rsod-fix-1903/
And it was fixed later I got same thing on CFW but fixed it pretty much same way but I maybe used NOR dump from @Pro.Hack :
http://www.ps3hax.net/showthread.php?t=30738
It fixes up few flags I recon so it may be essential step before u load you own NOR backup.
Anyway its all good so try this out and be patient thats all u need
Good luck !

Hi guys..
Thank you very much for the guide as it is very helpful... It is much more detailed than the original one.

I have a problem, at the step 4 of the guide. The xmb never asks to plug in a controller so I am stuck there! does anyone have any idea what might have happened?
When I change the switch from OFW to CFW nothing happens! OFW 4.11 again!!!
Do I have to make a deeper scratch to cut A-B line or is it something else?

All previous steps were successful...

I have flashed 4.11 via usb as e3 says and I have a jtp m/b
