@TDCroPower2
, Sad news for me, while i was doing the Dual Boot today, i got the YLOD
. Very unexpected, as everything was working fine. Is it possible to fix this YLOD by soldering the Tristate to SBE point? please let me know, as i just ran out of ideas.

I guess you should try again the dualboot process. Flash back 4.0/4.11 dump to ps3 flash 1st, by using flash-fun with nor tristate <--> SBE soldered. And repeat the dualboot procedures.[/QUOTE]
Never mind that, i swear i had the YLOD a few minutes ago, but got it back working again, Yippieee!!! got sooooo scared but now I'm happy again . i thing Dual Boot does not like it when I mix my hdd's, lol

after I press the power button. . All the previous steps were successful,however. I have soldered both the tristate to the SBE and the A point to the SBCE.. Does anyone have an idea what might be going wrong? ****UPDATE Last edited by telis750; 03-10-2012 at 03:58 AM. |

2 more thing you could try.
1.wire vcc (ps3 mb) to e3s vcc Bvcc together. 2.clean your solder point / Nor chip / motherboard by alcohol with toothbrush. |

@TDCroPower2
, I'm still having some issues with the dual boot. When I flip the switch from CFW to OFW, and put my 4.11 hdd, the ps3 beeps 3 times and then turns off, while the red light in the front flashes red. However, when I'm in CFW everything works fine, what should I do? any suggestions?

![]() sometimes, if you wanna do something right, you have to do it yourself what I did was, I soldered the SBE point to the Nor Tristate, which is located here on VER 001 motherboards: Ps3 Playstation 3 PA0 NOR Tristate Point VER-001 Motherboard - YouTubeThen, I took my copy of the bios, in this case, the one that caused the brick (3.55 in my case, it has to be the same firmware that you had prior to having the brick AND make sure is error free) then, on the e3 flasher, flip the FLASH FUN switch up (the rest down) and then hit START on the E3. After that, it asked me to connect my controller, and Bingo! I was back on 3.55 again! And Dual boot is back too 3.55 <==>4.11. Awesome. I hope this doesn't happen to you guys, because the downgrade process gave me a YLOD, but if you do, I hope this help you as much as it helped me ![]() P.S.: Thanks to those who tried to help me too : ) Last edited by leovaras; 03-14-2012 at 11:14 PM. |
