Well, I've done it. Sold my PS3 and I'm off to the alive and kicking scene of the XBOX360 JTAG, where I can do anything and everything with my console (without paying for a dongle ever few months) and smell the sweet grasses of Dev collaboration for the collective good of the scene.

I'm saddened by the lack of vision with the PS3 scene and the constant drama which progresses scene development no further month after month after month. It's just one Dev after another barking their so called skillz and weeks/months down the line nothing.

It's a shame because the PS3 has potential, but I was just sick of waiting for it to be realized. Considering the small number of ps3 only titles that see the light of day I decided to make the switch.

Of all the games I played on my ps3, Killzone 3, Uncharted 2 and GT5 were the best, but other than those I was not bowled away. I will miss GT5, it's a cracking simulator........but onwards and upwards as they say, guess it'll be Forza 4 for me now.

Adios dudes, and thanks for all the help and debate, it was fun whilst it lasted.

Sold my ofw ps3 last week. XBL>>PSN for online play, the majority of multiplatform games looks better on 360, there is no limitations playing newer games and no buttplug is required. Its easy to understand why so many ps3 users is moving to xbox.

But is restricted to native games. For multimedia/emulators and homebrew the 360 is not an option yet. FFplay is bad and FSD is slow and ugly

Can't say I blame you mate. The PS3 stopped being a competitive gaming console a while back, and the latest cross platform games have proven that as it is plain to see that not as much attention was given to the PS3 as it was the XBox.

I use mine basically for video playback now and the odd emulator and favourite old PS3 games like the God of War series.

Hopefully Sony will realise their mistakes for the PS4 and accept that Uber security does NOT sell consoles or games, but judging on their actions, I doubt it

Basing this solely off NON Modded consoles.

I find it kinda strange, that the PS3 was hugely advertised as a media device, where as the 360 was more known as a games console, now the 360 pwns the PS3 on every aspect, media, games, family entertainment....

The PS3 would have had the edge, if they had kept OtherOS.
