Maby we will see others fix or make it to where you don't need a flasher???
I'll give it some time and if all looks good..and a flasher is the only and safe way to go i will buy one.
I am on cfw3.55 rebug!
You need a flasher incase system dumps the NOR flash wrong, or your editing will, well, break it.
Also you would need nor dump made with flasher incase you brick.
Other than that pure procedure seems flasherless (in hardware way of understanding it).

wouldent that be located in the objectsuite software somewhere, since it have the pupose to get the idps.

maybe there are other things located there.

this is only part of the export table from there .

Someone with a flasher should report on whether this works or not :/
I had the thought like 6 months ago that all you need to do is change target id in your flash to make a dex. Seems almost too simple to be true, but remember, Sony was *not* expecting people to get this deep into the system. I don't have a flasher or I'd try it.
I don't think anything needs to be decrypted or encrypted; I mean you can display your IDPS in Multiman, if it is encrypted, just ask Deank for the algo

As mentioned above I'm also pretty sure ObjSuites has everything. You could reverse it, or maybe even use it as is. Apparently request_idps.txt contains the decrypted EID, which means ObjSuites can decrypt AND encrypt IDPS. Maybe someone with a flasher could backup their NOR, run ObjSuites, and just edit the 6th byte on request_idps.txt to 82, go on and see if it works.

That would most likely be how Math would've done it. But to do so, you need to be connected to Sony's servers, and that's a little dangerous for someone who doesn't know how to connect in a secure way, without getting caught. That would probably be the way he'd get the request_idps.txt (online).

The offline method involves a little more of knowledge than that...

Right, apparently you don't get the plain decrypted IDPS with ObjSuites.

Something that might work :
Dump IDPS with the method mentioned originally. Replace 6th byte with 82, save as request_idps.txt.
