I wanted to say that chances are the protection on this usb may be a lot easier to break through than on trueblue and that its a lot easier to reverse engineer with two different devices doing the same thing. It seems that it the having weaker protection was indeed the case.

i agree this would be easyer to crack.
the 3 extracted files is for flashing the dongle. and all the info for the microcontroller in the dongles is pretty open. http://www.st.com/stonline/stappl/re...sourceSelector search for dfuse or dfu

Let's hope this lads to new FREE cfw. But then even then we still need to be on 3.55, shame noone has hacked later or the current fw. Not holding up any hopes on this really, we'll just wait and see.

the microcontroller in the dongle appears to be motorola 6811
there have been made an simulator for that http://www.eng.fsu.edu/~mingyu/EEL47...THRSim11v5_21/ you can run the s19 file on the sim.It gives an error but runs fine after that. playing around as we speak

if you really believe that this "update" cracking is a coincidence then you are out of your mind!
I think someone here got it right when he said that JBking = trueBlue. this is all marketing and a "reason" for them to say: "now we have to release a new dildo, cuz the old one got cracked and is not safe (to make cash) anymore." they just want to rip you off. I just dunno why sony can't just close the Dev-Eboot leaking. |

You know what I hope? I hope that one day will be THE day. The day where we can do with our consoles what we want to do with it. The day True Blue is hacked or a new CFW is being released.
