What's da Best way of fixing xbox 360 3 Rod?

Hi guys, need help. My Xbox 360 is down for a long time, and doubting about da best way to fix it. Hope u guys will help me out? Thasnks.

I can tell you what NOT to do.... NEVER do the towel trick.... Temporary solution with permanent damage

Well you take it apart (pain in the ass) then remove the X-thingys from the mainboard and then you clean the cpu and gpu Then use a heat gun(Hair dryer if you cant get a heatgun) and heat blast the cpu and gpu for about 7-10 minutes and add some artic silver thermal paste DON'T CHEAP OUT its only $12 then put the power button on and connect the cables and do a test to see if it works, if all is good put it back together and play :>

I tried da hit gun processes, it works, but I got 2 rings of death.

I'm sure, but a guy told me that what it does is it risks certain parts (especially on the falcon boards) melting together when its finally dead for sure and being a ***** to fix later (if even possible)

Look up RRoD repair and also look up Xclamp fix. That should start you down the right path

That is because you have no av cables in 3 ring is hardware malfunction 2 is no avi in

When replacing the x-clamps, add a shim to the GPU. Ive brought quite a few RRoD XB360's replaced the clamps and they still gave me 3 or 2 RRoD till I added a shim. So far the last one I fixed is still going 9 months later.
