@viris3 I think pes only works from a disc but dirt 3 works,I've tested dirt 3 nfs the run and goldeneye reloaded and they work fine,is the jb2usb led turning green when you power up ps3 or is it staying red?

@kendo75 I have read and pes 2012 need the disc to play, when i start the ps3, the dongle stays red, and when the ps3 logo appears the dongle stays green.
My dirt 3 folder is bles01548...
what is your multiman version?

The JBK is more of a 'direct clone' of TB, this JB2 however is on a totally different chip. It is however still very possible to get this one upgraded to 2.5
People for some reason are thinking the JBK is going to be the easiest to hack however THIS dongle is the easier one to hack as it has no security (well minimal at best).
With this dongle it is essentially a case of shorting the pins and you are done..
You have access to whats on the dongle. It's a bit late now but if any of you guys who own one genuinely want to get this out in the open then PM me and my friend and I can maybe try and guide you through the process of dumping this one and getting the raw data to the people who can do something with it
Think of this dongle as like the old maximus I believe it was, where you pushed a button and you could read/write to it. This dongle just doesn't have the button.. you have to manually do it yourself

The only thing you wont be able to do with this dongle is play the burnt discs as it doesn't have enough memory to hold all the stuff to achieve that.
Considering the discs have now been taken off the resellers sites, that is not a big deal.

BTW it would be handy if the person who would volunteer has MSN and a webcam
EDIT: forgot to mention, you must obviously be willing to pull the dongle apart and maybe have some soldering skill would greatly assist as well

We are almost 100% sure of the IC used in it but would like to be totally sure before we got anyone to do anything with it

@virus3 4.02.04 I think. What ever the latest one is,I had no end of problems getting it up and running but got there in the end,installed update onto dongle,installed cfw shutdown ps3 inserted dongle into left hand USB (mine is a launch fat with 4 USB ports) switched on dongle went red then green,not sure of it makes a difference but when I switched ps3 on with dongle in right hand USB it stayed red and didn't turn green,multiman also said something about not being able to emulate bd mirror
