You don't find nothing ,thanks to the mpaa & riaa ,etc,/thinking/talk of / threatening to sue google for linking sites like the piratebay ! So they are filtering sites now = "CENSORSHIP" ! About the piratebay ,the police ? had a plan to raid the piratebay again ,the info leaked & the piratebay found out & just made a public announcement to let them know they are not the one's being watched.

I am sure Thepirate bay will be back believe, they have backups + backup domains all over they said .I read about this last night.

1- its not thepiratebay.org, its thepiratebay.se
2- piratebay survived every single attack raid lawsuit etc... it won't go down just like this.
3- piratebay is working fine, don't know what you guys are doing, but its working.
4- piratebay stop using torrents a month or so ago, only using magnet links now, cause its safer, you can't be accused of downloading a .tor file, cause you just get the announce now, it cant be traced by anyone. they had an explanation about magnetlinks on their website.

He didn't find anything related to TPB when searching for usenet, because its not related to it in any way.
Also TPB isn't the only torrent site/tracker,i don't get all this "OMG TPB DOWN" drama, just move on.

dude please , TPB is the best ! , and you know it .... all other torrent pages sucks ! but it depends in haw much you use TPB ya know !

1st. Private trackers
2nd. Other public trackers like isohunt.
TPB isn't the best, TPB is the most known. Too many leechers that just block seeding or cap it to 1 kb/s. If you call it best because many people know it, then just get the **** out.
EDIT: Not that i want to be extra-rude, but that's the true. There are other trackers too, and people seem to over-praise tpb.
