hallo ps3hax community..few days ago i was buy a ylod ps3 on firmware 2.60 from a friend..i now fixed it and im currently on kmeaw cfw.. the problem is that my ps3 wont let me put any cds on it. Its just like something is in there like a cd or something.When i press the eject button the motors are working (i m hear the sound )but nothing seems to get out. Also in the xmb menu when the system was on 2.60 (i dont try to eject on that firmware as nothing was seem to be inside the drive) and now on 3.55 doesn't seem to have any cd on it. If anyone knows how to fix it just live me a reply...Oh and btw after my console start about 2 minutes later, the fan speed is so fast and annoying, so if there is also a way to fix that just reply...thnx for reading and sory for my bad english.

make sure the ribbon is connected correctly make sure the ribbon is not crocked and pushed right in

I checked the cables and are all connected properly. How i can find if there is a crack on cables?

your sensor could be stuffed, when you try and put in a disc does your led change color?

I had the same problem, the gears were not inline and also not the ribbon cable but there is a smaller one that had come loose

I thing im going to reopen my ps3 and also the drive. Anyway thnx for your answer guys.
