Just use a meta search engine such as: http://torrentz.eu/
Basically it checks TPB, and 29 other torrent sites.
That way if one site is down you can still get the torrent from one of the other options.

ummmm most of the torrent trackers that are well known are public. Also public or private does not matter as there are snitches and MPAA/RIAA *****es everywhere. If you got a private torrent tarcker invite, what makes you think that a member of the RIAA or MPAA cant also acquire an invite?

I know we're at risk but much less than a tracker who has a million+ member.

The thing is, i never use my home IP for torrents. Anywais, i don't want to argue on this topic, i just wanted to share my point of vue, Maybe i was a little arse but i never meant to insult anybody.

LOL I love how you made the assumption that I use the pirate bay. Just because I posted in this thread, and maybe visited that site YEARS ago does not mean I use it. As I said in a previous post, torrents are the worst way of doing things. There is one private tracker that I do use from time to time, but the name isnt common, and I will not say the name to bring attention to it.

I only download from private torrent sites using double proxies and anonymous torrent applications. Thats the only way you cant get caught downloading with torrents.

I love that misconception. Proxies only make it harder to track you. It does not mean you cannot be tracked.

I agree with you, there are some better ways than torrent And i didn't make any assumptions as if you're using the site, maybe you mixed up with the guy i quoted tight before you lol
