If it's brand new and never been opened then definetly get it! If it has been opened then you'll need to ask the seller what firmware it's on...good luck.

Yeah it'll be a Slim but with a 250gb HDD which you can run all your games from. CFW literally unlocks your PS3 to do as you wish (well, a hell of a lot more than what Sony allows you to do...). Some of the games are very large though, GOW III (which you should get with your PS3), Uncharted 3, MGS4 and other big blockbuster titles are all over 20gb so having a big HDD is essential although you can also run games from an external drive.

Just look around the site man, you'll find loads of things to do with your CFW PS3 but things like going PSN are out of the question and playing 3.56+ games are a hassle unless you buy a parasite, I mean a dongle called "True Blue" or it's clones.

If you purchase a Cobra dongle you can play PS1 and PSP games on your Slim PS3's HDD so there's loads to do for free but if you want the huge extras they unfortunetly come at a premium.

Regardless, the first thing after grabbing your CFW (Kmeaw 3.55 is the best) is to get multiMAN/mmCM as this is the app you will need to launch your games from.

God Of war 3 was released in 2010 so you should be okay with it being under 3.55, if it's brand new.

Once on any MFW (Kmeaw, Rogero, Rebug, True Blue, Cobra...) you can play from HDD.

Pretty much man, it sucks but it's currently the only way. Regardless of the new games, you'll be able to enjoy hundreds of great games on CFW so it's not too bad but yes for the new games it's a pain.

i was an xbox user... now i want to try ps3..i did the modding of xbox by myself... i hope JB'ng is not that tuff ...
one more thing does this bundle comes with an extra DS3 controller ?
