PS3 Downgrading

So i been having problems with windows trying to downgrade. Wanting to find out if i would be able to use Ubuntu to read and write to the NAND/NOR and go to windows to do anything else i needed to do with it.

Also where can i get the solder points from for a G01/SEM-001 board?

I'm pretty sure you can't read/write to the NAND/NOR with Ubuntu, It's encrypted. The only way that I'm aware of is by using E3 Flasher or ProgSkeet.

With Progskeet you have drivers in linux as in windows. So you good to go there.
The solder points depends on which one are you using to make the downgrade.

E3 flasher, or Progskeet, like Majordisaster said.

You're supposed to solder directly to the nand pins.

On the ps3devwiki. Under Hardware Flashing. All NAND's have the same pinout. Nor's are a little different.
