3D....Im doing it wrong

Hi All So i was quite excited to hear about the new 3d support function with Multiman V04.02.03. I download the latest multiman and the sample 3d video, but when i tried playing it on my hd ready tv through showtime, i still dont get the 3d effect(Not even anaglyph) Is there something i must do to activate it through SHowtime, cuase i tried all the buttons, but it still plays as normal Any ideas

This may seem really stupid, but you said HD ready TV. You didn't say anything about it being a 3d TV. To set the record clear, you do own a 3D television, correct?

hi .Thanks for the reply guyz :-)

It is a hd ready tv that i own, so i know i wont be getting stereoscopic 3D , but was kinda hoping to get anaglyph at least :-(
I tried updating to the latest mmCM(v04.02.04) , but still no anaglyph. Really stumped on this. I am from South Africa , if this affects the required refresh rate in any way??

Hi Hellsing9. No, i think my refresh rate is 50-60 hZ. My PS3 settings is set to Automatic, but apart from that, my only option left to choose is the 50HZ. To the forum members that manage to get the anaglyph to work. Have any of you played the sample file provided(the pumpkins in SBS and TB) DO you just go into MM, choose Showtime and open the file? I read the "controls" section that came with the downloads, and apparently when you press R3 or the directions pad on your controller, you supposed to be able to toggle between the different 3D modes. Have any of you managed to do this? All i get is the Log of the file playing, or it fast forwards or rewinds the file.

...I don't get what you're saying. Your tv's 3D should pick up the sample, whether it's a side-by-side, top-to-bottom and especially stereoscopic on the PS3.

hi there
My tv is only hd ready, so when i play the file through showtime, it stays in split screen with 2 identical images running at the same time next to each other.I beleive that what was/is supposed to happen, is that the images are supposed to merge into 1, giving a blurry effect, and once you put the specs on, you get the 3d effect. At the moment, i am sitting with my red/cyan specs looking at a split screen, with no 3D
