need help buying new ps3
hello all
 , I'm going to buy a new ps3 and I found a new 250gb model. I checked the ps3 models and it seems that the 250gb model is always under 3.55 but I just want to be sure, is there any chance that the firmware is going to be higher than 3.55?Thanks |

If you mean by new as in still boxed and sealed, then it should be fine.
Depending on where you are buying it from ask about returns policy just in case. I usually tell them I am buying it as a present and as long as I am very careful with first opening of box, I have had no trouble returning things yet.

ok thanks, it's not from a store. it's just someone selling his ps3 he said the box is still sealed. I'll meet him tomorrow hopefully he isn't lying.
I'm from Belgium by the way it's very hard to find a hackable ps3 here |

If it's never been opened then you'll be fine with regards to installing CFW...if it has been opened then demand to know the firmware version before you buy. Good luck.

YESSSSSSS!!!! it was on 2.76 (now on 3.55
 ). After months of searching I finally found a brand new hackable ps3 for only 180 euro's and with 2 years warranty. Thanks for the help!!!! |
