I think you should give your code to another talented devs.
If you give it to them, you should ask everyone's opinion.

Its simple, can it help the run-of-the-mill user in any way? If not, let only a selected few have it to play with. The reason why i dont want to see an incomplete one out right now since it has been stated outright its patchable in tweets and blogs.
As frustrating as it is to wait, rather not blow it now. I have been around for over a year, I just dont post unless i see it fit here and on other places - and have been waiting as everyone else ( except the crunch site where i didnt even register).

i think you should release it to some of the devs that you know can finish it or that you trust will finish it if u donot have the time for the same
but even if a 10% thought that u will finish it sometime, then keep it for yourself to finish

Like everyone else here, Release it when it's finished. No matter what firmware update is/has been released.

A finished project is a successful project.

If anything - You could just not release it, that way it will keep the ****wits at bay.

Why not release it to a select few people who are NOT devs but that are important enough or that earned enough trust around these places that they deserve to see it? Sounds like a perfectly good way to do it. Just my opinion though. Those people can then prove it works, and (try to) keep the leechers away.
