not enough usb ports
well true blue is in one port, and external hard drive in the other.. so how am i supposed to charge my controllers? can i plug it into my computer?
i tried a usb to wall plug for my phone and it didn't work... so any sugestions or what other people used? i heard of people using usb 1 to 4 splitter.. but i'm not sure this would work with my external hard drive... |

use a hub for more ports and you can charge the controllers with any usb port.... I charge mine with my Dreambox sat receiver

It's realistic, if you place it on a hub with something else that it could throttle it. I see no issue with putting your controllers on a hub with the trueblue though

would the true blue work on a hub?? i believe i just got my controller to charge off my computer usb port.. which will suffice..
but i thought the true blue had to be in the farthest right port? and i thought a hub might interfere with the dongle? |

You are correct. The tb single looks for code from the usb000 port. So u can plug the single in the right port and hub in left. And u should be fine with the ext hdd and controller. But u can also charge the xontroller from almost any external source. Which i recommend so u dont have to have the ps3 on and continue to chance a ylod or raid from over use/ heating problems.

Edit: now I'd recommend updating the dongle in the right most port, but except for updating TB should work from any port just fine (I've got 4 port and have had it in everyone plus in hubs) Last edited by bitsbubba; 03-21-2012 at 04:21 PM. |
